“Organic music from the heart.”
— Jerry Fox, Musician for Bandana
Daydream is an unexpected collision of genres at the crossroads of acoustic, Americana and alternative that features songs reminiscent of Buckingham Nicks, Striking Matches, and the White Stripes.
Together Jeff Soule and Teresa Bell make up the acoustic duo called East of Nowhere. Hailing from the Middle Tennessee region, the two first began performing together in March of 2016. Their tunes are a fusion of genres including classic country and rock, alternative, jazz, Appalachian music, and indie. Some folks label them Americana, others simply say they make music that feeds the heart and soul.
Their first album, Daydream, released in early fall 2019 and features their signature variety of styles along with messages that speak to the most basic of human desires, the need to love and to be loved. The album is available in both digital down load and in CD format in most places music is readily sold.
Jeff and Teresa love playing out and touching people's lives with their music. Because much of their songwriting is inspired by human relationships, they enjoy hearing the stories of their fans, friends, and acquaintances. East of Nowhere travels the Mid-South region, playing at festivals, house concerts, and other places where great music can be found.
